Material:
1 cup sago
4 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar (as per taste)
1/4 cup cashews and almonds (chopped)
1/2 teaspoon cardamom powder
1 pinch saffron (optional)
2 spoons ghee

Method of preparation:
-First of all, soak the sago in water for 2-3 hours. When the sago becomes completely soft, then understand that it is ready to cook.

-Now place a pan on the gas and heat ghee in it. Now add chopped cashews and almonds and fry till they turn golden. When it is roasted, take it out in a plate and keep it aside.

-In the same pan, add soaked sago and fry well for 1-2 minutes. When it starts becoming transparent, add milk to it and reduce the flame and cook.

-When the milk comes to a boil, add sugar and cardamom powder to it. Reduce the flame and keep mixing it well. After some time the sago kheer will start thickening.

-Now add saffron in it and take it off the flame. Now add roasted nuts to it and leave it to cool. Your delicious Sabudana Kheer is ready.

-You can also serve it hot and enjoy it in this festival of Navratri.
